We currently offer free shipping on orders over $700 to Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney (metro areas only) Please ask for quote outside of metro (50km radius) We don't use normal couriers, but have furniture specialists that make trips twice a month Melbourne and Brisbane.
With regards to returns, we do not accept returns for preordered items unless deemed faulty- and once placed, a preorder cannot be cancelled. To start a return, you can contact us at amy@fifthisland.com.au at we'll organise a refund or exchange if accepted.Faqs
1) Do you offer any guarantees?
We don't offer any returns if you change your mind.
The exception is if your item doesn't arrive, or arrives damaged we can
issue an exchange or refund with proof.

2) Does your furniture arrive pre-assembled?
Yes, we ship all items already assembled to save you the hassle of having to set it up yourself.
3) Do you ship Australia wide?
Yes, we do! Prices vary depending on location.
We offer free shipping on orders to Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney.
Otherwise Shipping fees apply outside of these areas depending on the item of interest.
You can submit an enquiry or go through to checkout to view shipping fees before making an order.
4) How long do the furniture items last?
As long as you consistently maintain the purchased items, you'll have no issue maintaining your teak & rattan
furniture for decades.
For teak items, they require very little maintenance - all you need is a soft plastic brush, soap & water for a
brief scrub (particularly when exposed to outdoors) once every few months. Avoid using all purpose wood cleaners or
steel/brass wool brushes that may incur damage to the items
For rattan items, a fortnightly dusting or vacuum should do the trick - and every month a damp cleaning using any
household brush, water, liquid soap and a cloth to wipe it down.
